Photonics has a strong potential for addressing relevant clinical needs. In particular, it proposes solutions that are economical, accurate and non-invasive to solve longstanding clinical problems that today’s technology fails to address.

Our team develops novel tools based on the first principles of light-matter interactions bringing novel and innovative solutions to unmet clinical needs. Our approach is based on a strong presence in the clinic and frequent interactions with healthcare professionals. Thanks to this approach, we are able to identify critical needs in their daily practice and propose viable solutions that answer their needs.

More particularly, we develop solutions within the following areas:

  • Surgical guidance using diffuse optics
  • Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT)
  • Nanoscopy without contrast agents
  • Treatment using photonic jets
