  • Electromagnetic optics: waveguides, optical fibers, sensors, light scattering, light-matter interactions, Numerical study of Maxwell's equations, negative refraction index materials, photonic crystals, diffractive optics.
  • Numerical simulation: Finite-Difference Time Domain, Finite-Elements Method (Comsol), Light scattering (Mie, T-matrix), Mode coupling.
  • Laser: laser processing, optical fibre manipulation, Van der Lugt optical filtering
